The girls both dressed up as Minnie Mouse and had a blast trick-or-treating with their friend Sammy, the fireman.

We had a lot of fun carving pumpkins this year, the girls really got into "getting the goopy gone".

Fall is my absolute most favorite time of the year! I love that the weather starts to cool down enough for long sleeve shirts and jeans but not cold enough for a coat. I love the smell of the crisp air and the pretty trees changing colors. I love making a big ol' pot of chili and enjoying it watching football with my husband and girls. I love this season and I know it only lasts a short while before Winter comes and we will be stuck inside and the trees will be bare and covered with snow. So, we have really been trying to enjoy every day of this beautiful Fall season and this last weekend we did a little raking while the girls attempted to help but mostly played in the leaves.

Because we had so much fun going to Weston’s Red Barn Farm with friends we decided to go there again when our niece Samantha came to visit. We almost didn’t make it as Kylee had gotten an ear infection the night before and we were up all night with her but after a trip to the pediatrician and some meds we ventured out to the farm. It was a beautiful day. We took the girls for pony rides and then went through the corn maze. Later that day, I took Samantha out for pedicures and shopping. She got some cute flowers on her toes and a pretty new outfit. It was such a fun weekend.
