Christmas!!!

Image
Christmas was hard this year with the passing of my Granny but we still managed to have a nice Christmas spent with lots of family bonding. We headed to IG for Christmas and tried to beat the terrible weather. Of course we came the night it started to get bad and ended up hitting black ice and going into a ditch just a few miles before reaching our destination. Luckily, we were all okay and the babies didn't even wake up. We put the Durango in 4 Wheel Drive and were able to continue safely to IG. Then the snow hit! WOW - I think IG got about 23 inches of snow for the duration of our stay of about a week. It was crazy to see so much snow - it definitely was a very white Christmas. We were able to go to Christmas Mass on Christmas Eve (although Eric and I divided up Mass by taking Kylee to the basement, she was not really interested in being quiet). Rest In Peace Granny

She was non-responsive this time and passed after us being there about an hour. She was surrounded by loved ones when she passed and was no longer in any pain. She passed away in time to spend Christmas with my Grandpa who passed away about 24 years ago and my Uncle Tony...

It's Fun to Have a Sister!

I remember taking baths with siblings when I was younger and knew that someday my girls would get to share in the joy of playing in the tub with one another too. Although Natalee is still not quite stable enough sitting on her own in the tub, we put her in her bumbo seat so the two could play in the tub together and they LOVED it!

I had a wonderful birthday for my last birthday in my 20's. All of my friends and loved ones remembered me and helped me have a very happy birthday. Eric made me a cake and had Kylee help decorate it....so sweet and it was delicious!
