Brooks turned 40 on Memorial Day and so the Jenkins clan came to celebrate. It was a wonderful weekend with family and a great celebration. We went to see Drive by Truckers at Crossroads on Saturday night and then Stacey threw Brooks a great Mustache Bash 40th birthday party on Sunday. There were lots of friends and family that came and it was so much fun. Happy Birthday Brooks!!!!

Happy Birthday to our little girls! Eric and I have wanted to get something to go in the backyard for the girls to play on/with but our backyard is really small and we have a big tree growing right in the middle of the only really "open" space we would have back there so we've really struggled to find something that would work. We've measured and tried to see about a swingset or a trampoline but both of these options wouldn't fit. Then we thought of a playhouse and with two little girls that love to play "house" - this couldn't be more perfect!!! We still have some painting and personalizing to do but this was after Eric got it all put together and us showing the girls for the first time!!! They are going to have so much fun and make so many fun memories in this playhouse!

Dave and Marina came to celebrate Natalee's birthday and we had a wonderful weekend with them. The girls loved the special time they got to spend with their Grandma and Grandpa! We went to Kaleidoscope on Saturday and a special train-themed lunch at Fritz's afterwards! Painting with Grandma So had so much fun! Fun at Fritz's!

We had a very fun birthday celebration for Natalee's 4th birthday. Grandma Marina and Grandpa Dave came down and took us out to dinner at the Yard House on Friday night (Natalee's birthday). We ordered a special brownie dessert and they put 4 candles on it - Natalee loved this!

My sweet little girl turns 4 today! I can't believe what a big girl she is getting to be. She amazes me everyday with new words she is using and the cutest little questions she asks. She is thrilled to be turning 4 so she can be as old as everyone else at daycare. Plus, now that she is 4 - it means she'll get to play soccer this Fall and that is ALL she has been talking about since Kylee played last year. This little girl is such a sweetie. She has always been my snuggle-bug and has always been such a happy little girl. She is caring and thinks of others. Just yesterday at the dentist office when they offered her a sticker, she asked if she could have one for her sister too and she is always asking to include others in everything. She LOVES her baby dolls and is such a good lil' mommy to them. She LOVES animals of any kind and isn't afraid to try new things. She is definitely my little sweetie! LOVE YOU NATALEE - HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY!!!!

Today Natalee had to go back to the dentist. She didn't have an official cavity but the dentist said she had a groove on one of her molars that was starting to get a little "sticky" and so they just needed to clean it out and fill it with a composite (so kind of like a cavity). She was so excited to go to the dentist and did great!!! It didn't take them long and they gave her gas during the procedure and told her it was a "princess nose" - she didn't mind it one bit and got to pick out a pretty bracelet afterwards. They also gave her stickers, a popsicle and a balloon!

The girls had a birthday tea party this weekend and had all of their friends from pre-school come. They all had so much fun and were so excited - it was such a fun party!
