The Walter Family

We are in the middle of lots and lots of projects at our house. With a new year, brings lots of things I want to check off of our to-do list. We are refinishing the kitchen cabinets ourselves and it has been quite the learning process. I thought I would have it down since I did both of our bathroom cabinets with the same stain as trial experiences before the kitchen but we have run into little “snags” along the way. After our cabinets are finished, we are then going to paint all of the trim in our house, re-paint the kitchen and ½ bathroom, paint the basement and get new carpet in the entire house. Whew! Like I said, lots of projects but will feel so good to finally check some of these items off of our to-do list!

We went to Brooks & Stacey’s for New Year’s Eve and had so much fun! There were lots of kids for the girls to play with and it was nice to be able to let them play and get to enjoy some adult conversation. We had a great time bringing in the New Year and stayed up way too late so it was nice to have New Year’s Day off to relax and nap!
