New Year's Eve...... we had planned on going over to Brooks & Stacey's and bringing in the New Year with family and friends with games and lots of fun. We still were able to do what we had planned but had a bump in the road to start the night off. When I got home from work, we had a little time before we needed to go to Brooks & Stacey's house, so I thought we could have a quick snack and had an avocado that I thought would be perfect. Well, I stupidly used a butter knife to try to take out the pit and the knife went right through the avocado and through my hand between my ring finer and middle finger. It was off to the ER and several stitches later...we were able to go to Brooks & Stacey's. I had the stitches in for 10 days. Ugh!

The girls helped Cole celebrate his 6th birthday by going to see Walking with Dinosaurs and then to T-Rex to eat afterwards.

Kylee was a bear in the Christmas music concert at school. She was so cute and did a great job! Here is a picture of her and Natalee before her big performance and then one of her and Cole afterwards.

We had a fun night going out to eat at the Yard House and then headed to a comedy club to celebrate my birthday. It was such a fun night!!

The girls and I made rolled out sugar cookies for the holidays and had so much fun!

It was a perfect, beautiful Fall day so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to take some pictures of the girls.

Natalee got to go out for soccer this year. She was so excited and loved scoring her first goal but then didn't like the "fighting part" or as we say, trying to get the ball. Kylee didn't really want her picture taken at the moment (notice the tears and wet shirt from all the tears).

Kylee was a girl riding a unicorn this year and Natalee was a NICE witch. They loved their costumes and didn't want to take them off! They got so much candy, we had to empty their buckets half way through the night.

Kylee participated in Mini-Cheer at half-time during the football game.

Since I missed the field trip, I promised Kylee we could go to Weston's Red Barn Farm as a family - so we did!

Eric surprised Kylee at school today and had lunch with her. She was so excited!

Kylee's first field trip! I so badly wanted to go with her and took the day off of work but Natalee got sick so I stayed home with Natalee. Our friend, Lynn went on the trip with her little boy Cole and captured these pictures for us!
