My sweet little baby is not so much of a "baby" anymore, she turned two yesterday! I'm officially a mother of two 2-year olds...for just a couple of weeks and then I'll be a mom of a 2 year old and 3 year old. We are having a joint birthday party this weekend for our little sweethearts. The birthday girl Sisterly Hugs and Kisses! Chocolate Chip Cookie (don't worry, we are having lots of cake this weekend) Saying "I'm 2" Opening presents... Feeding her new baby doll... Shooshhhh'ing her baby....

One of my friends is getting married in a little over a month, so we celebrated her "fling before the ring" this past weekend. It was a very fun night!! Some of the group before we left with the bachelorette...

We went to IG a few weekends ago to celebrate my Mom's 60th birthday! We had a fabulous time and was nice to have the entire Jenkins clan there to celebrate. We had lots of food, margaritas, games and fun. The beautiful cake my sister-in-law, Stacey made... Mom getting ready to open her presents.... Mom and Kylee... There also was dancing... I have been working on refinishing our cabinets in our master bath. I need to do all of the cabinets in the house but started with our master to figure out technique etc, before moving on to the Kitchen and other bathrooms. These turned out a little darker than I had envisioned but I really like them and they are no where near perfect but now I think I've learned from the mistakes I made on these and feel comforatable enough to move on to the rest of the house. We replaced all of the hardware with an oil rubbed bronze. Now I just need to get some faucets in that finish and this bathroom will be complete! Of course I didn't take any before pictures so am using the only picture I really have of the cabinets from when we moved in to the house, you can't really tell what a huge difference there is but the originals were a honey oak color and the new ones are walnut. The Walter household has been taken over by the flu! We got the call yesterday from Nana that Kylee was sick. She was sick all night long and then about midnight, Natalee started in too. Poor little sweeties couldn't even keep a little water down. We tried pedialyte and then went to water and then to nothing until finally this morning we were able to start keeping fluids down and slowly progressed through the day to some food, mostly toast, but I was pleased with them just able to eat something. We've done lots of laundry and had lots of snuggle time today. Nana called today to say that she got sick last night too and pretty much all of the kids at daycare had it plus a lot of elementary school aged kids have it too...so, it's definitely going around! Just hoping Eric and I don't get it now! We are supposed to go to IG this weekend for my Mom's 60th birthday party so hoping for good health by Friday!

I had a great weekend in Omaha last weekend. I went for one of my besties from high school's baby shower. Five of the eight from our high school group made it and we had so much fun. We showered the Mommy-to-be with lots of fun presents, had pedicures, went shopping and then ended our night with the play Steel Magnolias. On Sunday, Jodi and Candi did Brianne and Adam's maternity photo shoot and they did a wonderful job. I stole these pix from facebook and didn't bring my camera, I figured with the pros there taking pictures, I would just get copies from them. It was a great weekend with treasured friends - miss you guys and wish we all lived closer!
