Getting out of the house....

Image
We had a wonderful weekend. The weather has finally warmed up enough to do some things outside - very ready for Spring! Friday night we went for a nice walk and it felt so good to get out in the fresh air and not be rushed to run inside because it was bitter cold out. Saturday we went to the Children's museum and maybe because I've been to the one in Omaha that is amazing, I was expecting KC's to be similar or better even....Eric and I weren't that impressed, but the girls had fun and that is all that really matters. Here are a few pictures from our day trip.... We spent today going to church, catching up on laundry, dishes and housework .. oh and we all had a marvelous afternoon nap... it was a nice Sunday.

It’s been awhile and not only have I been a bad blogger lately, I’ve also not done so great at capturing what has been keeping us so busy with my camera. This won’t be a post of a lot of words but just some pictures of a few things that we’ve been up to. First off – my trip to Denver for Adam’s graduation, we had a lot of fun as you can tell from the pictures thought it necessary to take lots of pictures … this was the first time that all four of us Jenkins kids were in Denver at the SAME time. We were missing my Dad but otherwise it was a fun Jenkins family vacation. Miss this place We had a little photo shoot one night in the dining room.... Kylee and I had a fun Mother/Daughter shopping day this last weekend – we had so much fun and it was great to have some one-on-one time with just her. The Linman’s have moved to town and we took the kids to Play, Bounce and Jump for the night….they had so much fun. Natalee was addicted to the big slide and kept saying “one more time” as soon a...

My brother Brooks and I went to see Pat Green in Lawrence, KS on Friday night at the Granada. It was a fun and interesting evening. We had a good time but I think Brooks and I both were feeling our age certain parts of the night. Show was good but it was amateur night at the Granada...of course a fight even broke out and some girl got a crazy bloody nose... Pat Green stopped playing and then started up again singing Barracuda. I didn't bring my camera so am stealing the picture Brooks posted on facebook with his.
