The Walter Family

Eric's birthday was on Easter this year so he had to "share" the day. He still had a very nice birthday!

We had a wonderful Easter. The girls had fun getting all dressed up in their new dresses. Church was lovely and the best part was that the Easter Bunny made an appearance after church and had an Easter Egg Hunt. Both of the girls really liked the Easter Bunny but Natalee LOVED him! He held her hand and I guess rubbed it while holding it because that is ALL she could talk about the rest of the day is that the Easter Bunny did this (and then she would show me with her hands, rubbing them together) to my hand. She LOVED him! The Easter bunny also delivered all sorts of goodies to our house. We had an egg hunt and even made Dylan hunt eggs with the girls :-)

The Lorax is my FAVORITE Dr. Seuss book of all time and so I was super excited when I found out they were making it a movie. Kylee and I went to see it together and it was AMAZING - we loved it!

We went to watch Dylan play some basketball and it was a great game. We don't make it to many of his games anymore, which I hate but he always plays really well at all the games we do see. It's amazing to see how far he has come since we first moved here and he was just learning the game, now he towers over most of the other kids and is very talented - makes it a lot of to watch!

My best friend came to visit for a long weekend in February. We had a lot of fun together catching up and just hanging out together like we used to get to do all the time when I lived in Colorado. I knew I missed having her around but when she came and we got to hang out with eachother again, it really reminded me how much I missed her friendship. We had lots of girl time and then went out one night to the Kansas City Power & Light district and it happened to be Mardi Gras that night - it was a lot of fun!
