COLORADO VACATION

We had such a great time in Colorado for our first ever family vacation! We loved getting to meet and spend time with Baily and Jackson. This won't be a post with much words because we took a lot of pictures that pretty much document our trip!

Denver Children's Museum - we had a blast here, could have stayed here all day long it was a lot of fun! We met up with Jaci, Malissa and her little guy, Logan...


















We went to this AMAZING kids aquatic park on Monday but I didn't bring my camera since we were going to be in the water but we had a lot of fun there!


We went to the park during the day on the 4th and then to Amy's sister's house for the evening of the 4th and had a great time celebrating with everyone!!!





























We headed to beautiful Breckenridge but didn't take too many pictures...





We got to see Jarod and Amanda while we there which was really nice because it has been a few years since we have seen them and it was fun for the girls to all meet.


Our last night hanging out in Colorado...the boys had a great time laying on the blanket and stretching out...





Leaving Colorado and heading back home to Kansas...

    What a fabulous trip! I bet it was great to meet the new babies and see some old friends. Pretty nice for your first family vacation!

Baby, Baby, Baby

The girls are so excited about becoming big sisters and are always asking questions about the baby. I read that this week the baby can hear us talk so the girls have been singing to the baby and talking to the baby. We find out if the baby is a girl or boy next month and are so excited! I had a doctor's appointment on Friday and the doctor said the baby is very active and moving all over the place. I loved hearing this because to me, the more the baby moves, the more healthy I feel it is. I have felt a few little flutters so far and can't wait for the baby to get a little bigger so I can feel it moving more often - to me, that is one of the most amazing feelings! So with baby on the mind, today, the girls came downstairs to show me that they both were expecting babies - Natalee with twins and Kylee with one and then a few minutes later - their babies were born!

It's Fun to Have a Sister!

I remember taking baths with siblings when I was younger and knew that someday my girls would get to share in the joy of playing in the tub with one another too. Although Natalee is still not quite stable enough sitting on her own in the tub, we put her in her bumbo seat so the two could play in the tub together and they LOVED it!

Apparantly Kylee has been paying very close attention to Mommy. This morning I was getting my pump out and Kylee ran over, grabbed the shields and did this...she'll make a good Mommy someday.
